Introduction: Of all the Porsches done by UT, the 993 Turbo S is the most sought-after, most valuable, and most difficult to find. Available in black, yellow, and red these cars are all beautiful, and all prized by collectors. You'll notice from the pictures below that I have not yet removed the hood-securing stickers that came on the car. This is simply because I might want to sell this baby one day, and finance the purchase of a new house or yacht.
Highs: Stunning banana-yellow paint, blemish-free, smooth and glossy. Complimenting the exterior color are sport seats with matching banana-yellow seatbacks, and yellow brake calipers! Those yellow calipers can be easily seen behind the Turbo-look rims that UT replicates so well. Other highlights are interior felt-feel carpeting and carbon fiber trim on the stick shift and hand brake. In the rear you'll find an extra large spoiler and quad exhausts.
Lows: Side light signals are painted on bumps rather than plastic fixtures, but that's the case on all UT Porsches. Detail on the car is nice, but it's not Kyosho or GMP level. Then again, the model at original retail was priced at the low end of the scale, in the under $35 category.
Summary: Those under-$35 prices are a thing of the past. I've seen them on ebay for $70-$110. Same for the black and the red versions. Is it worth that much money? It is if you want it bad enough! And many collectors do. It does look great, and displays beautifully. I personally think the combination of yellow-backed seats, yellow calipers and yellow paint looks stunning, and to me it was worth the $70 purchase price.
