Highs: Beautiful red paint, smooth and glossy. Special "RS" rims, with red "Porsche" brake calipers. Those red calipers, plus the red paint, plus matching red seatbacks makes for a great presentation. They're actually 3-color sport/racing seats: black seat frames, with bone-white seat and back cushions, and red backing. Interior also features felt-feel carpeting, carbon-fiber trim, a 3-spoke RS steering wheel, and a red RS logo in the rear seatback. In my opinion, this is the best interior of all the Porsches UT has done. Add in the small whale-tail spoiler, black lower-body aero styling, and a good-looking front airdam and you've got one sharp Porsche 993 diecast.
Lows: Same lows as on the other UT Porsches...side signals are painted bumps, minimal underside detail. But, again, these were priced as budget models, so that has to be factored into the equation.
Summary: UT made the RS in 3 colors: white, bright-blue, and red. From what I've seen on ebay and heard from other collectors, the Red is the most sought-after of the 3, and most valuable. If you're going to start a collection of UT Porsches, or just Porsches in general, this is a great one to add simply because the RS had different styling cues than the rest of the product line. It offers great value, good quality, and a beautiful presentation. For under $40, what more could you want?
