Review: UT 2000 Corvette Convertible Millenium Yellow

Highs: Attractive color (similar to Porsche's Speed Yellow, though photos might not capture that), carpeted interior and trunk, nice interior detail, sits right and displays well. Some highlights include amber plastic inserts for the rear signal lights and red plastic inserts in the interior door bottoms (open-door reflectors), rather than stickers. Nice looking front fog lamps.

Lows: Hood won't stay up on its own, which is a real pain since the engine is nice to look at, though the engine is just part of the overall chassis mold. Brake discs are plain (are the discs on the real car plain?...maybe).

Summary: Another basic, budget UT model. Can be picked up easily for $25 or less, which makes it a good value. Next to most Kyoshos or Lanes it will look out of place, but it's still better than any Maisto or Bburago I've ever seen. For Corvette fans, it's easy to recommend, simply because UT captured the look, proportions and stance so well.
