Sticky Update: The deadline for placing special orders for Bixby Couture has passed, no further special orders will be accepted by Honora or the factory. I can, however, continue to get any Bixby Couture pieces that are still in stock at Honora and will continue to do so until March 31, 2012. As of April 1, 2012, Honora is ceasing all sales of Bixby.

Update 1/27/12: Honora found one more of each BBR1075 and BBR1075WMOP in stock, so if you're interested in either one let me know. I sold what I thought was the last BBR1075 last night, which means that all that's left are the ones Honora found, one of each style.

Update 1/27/12: I understand some of you are having problems with the download. It is a Microsoft Word file, which means you'll have to have Microsoft Word installed to open it. This was necessary because the inventory grew so much bigger that the resultant graphics file grew as well, to almost 20MB. The Microsoft Word version of the file made it smaller so more people could access it. But if that's not working for you, I am happy to personally send you the PDF version, which should work for everyone with Macs. But it will be a big file, so hopefully your email server can handle it!

Update 1/26/12: We're off to the races, the new Bixby Inventory Catalog is available! Just click the link below and save it to your computer. It's a Microsoft Word document. Here are some guidelines:

- The prices you see are the prices you pay

- Shipping is $5 flat, no matter how many items you buy in a day

- If an item shows as SOLD OUT that means Bixby only found one of those, and it was claimed or sold already

- If there is no picture available, that means Honora never took a photo for their own catalog, so there isn't one available. I've asked Honora to fill in the gaps, but this will take time. For many items, you can refer to a photo included for the same style but with different gemstones.

- We're still compiling the missing length information for some bracelets and necklaces that don't show length measurements. I'll add this as we get it, and will update the inventory file so subsequent downloads will have more data as time passes. If you've found an item that you've been looking for, and it's definitely the style you want and it's simply a matter of confirming fit, I'll try to get that length data for you.

- It's still a big file, 8MB+, so be patient with the download

Update 1/25/12: Ok Bixby fans, I've got huge news. Apparently Honora has been dealing with a system glitch when they've requested inventory reports from their warehouse database, such that the reports we've been receiving have been...incomplete. We didn't know it, and they didn't know it.

They fixed the glitch, ran a new report, and it went from 48 pages to 66 pages. That means approximately 160 items have been added back to the inventory, that were either previously out of stock, OR we never even knew about them. I have the new report, and will soon be making a new customer-friendly inventory report, with photos, available to my customers. Many items that have been sold out for quite some time are available again, albeit only in limited quantities (it's not like they discovered 25 Fairy Keys in a box in the warehouse). Additionally, the report now shows many items that I'd never even heard of, never seen, and didn't have any clue existed. Some are pretty incredible, like the jumbo pearl necklaces with multi-gemstone stations.

The new report will look just like the last one I distributed, only cleaner, and the prices will be directly on the inventory report so you won't have to refer to an adjoining spreadsheet. It won't have retail prices, only my AFW prices.

Even better, you won't have to request it...the report will be available for download directly from my website.

I hope to have it finished by the weekend. Until then, please hold all personal requests for pricing, availability, etc. as my workload won't allow me to honor them and still get the report finished in a timely manner.

There are some beautiful pieces now available again, so stay tuned....!

Update 1/24/12: If you've ever longed for BBK202RUB, Bixby's flagship creation 18K solid gold Rubellite "Palace Key" (retail $7800), but was told they sold out long ago (which, technically, they thought they did) drop me a line. They have one - and only one - and its brand new and I can get it. Yes, it's expensive, and costs about the same as a nice cruiseship vacation, but....aren't you worth it?

Update 1/24/12: And speaking of being "worth it"...there's one other item that is gonna blow everyone's socks off. Bixby has one - and only one - Solid 18K Yellow Gold Diamond and Pink Tourmaline Dragon Bracelet. Retail is $10,475. And I can get it for you, but this one will not last long. Yes, it costs about the same as taking 30 of your best friends to sit in the Green Monster seats at Fenway Park for a Saturday afternoon ballgame, but ballgames last 3 hours....this Dragon Bracelet is forever. If you are independently wealthy and you light your candles with $100 bills, write to me and let's make this hapen.

Update 1/20/12: Surprise surprise, 3 orders showed up today from Honora! I have a lot of shipping to do, and want to get everything shipped tomorrow, so I may not be able to send personal messages to everyone to let you know your item arrived. But if you receive a shipping notification from PayPal, then you know that Bixby Claus is comin' to town!

Update 1/20/12: I just found out from Honora that any order we place that includes a QVC item (in this case, the Amazing Grace crosses) will require an extra week of processing because the QVC items are coming from a different location. So to all those who had an item on our January 6 order, and are wondering why it's not here yet, that's the reason. That order had QVC Crosses on it, which meant that instead of it taking the normal 10-12 days, it will take an extra week. I apologize for the delay - I didn't realize that QVC items had longer processing time, but apparently they do. That order is shipping from Honora today, so I should be shipping those items to customers next week.

(and please understand that these prices are on in-stock items, which the dealer has already paid for and has in stock - I cannot match these prices on the equivalent items coming from Bixby today)

Update 1/13/12: AMAZING GRACE CROSS PHOTOS! Click here to see an example of both the yellow saphire-olive pearl version and the rhodolite garnet-black pearl version (I've not ordered a blue topaz version yet). These were not hand-picked for the photos - all of the crosses we received looked just like this one (which doesn't guarantee that everything we order will be flawless every time, but this first batch included 7 crosses and so far every customer I've heard from has been elated with theirs).

Update 1/11/12: Amazing Grace crosses are available! We received the first batch, and they're fantastic! Perfect quality, beautiful stones and pearls, and Bixby has confirmed that they have enough quantity for us to continue submitting orders for the immediate future. They have them in all 3 colors (see the detailed product idea box below) so let me know if you'd like one! (and I'll be posting photos soon - I took photos of a yellow and purple cross for all to enjoy)

Update 1/10/12: Have you ever wished you could sneak into the Bixby warehouse and see everything they had left in stock, so you could know what's available, what's within your budget, and what's new that you haven't seen before? Update 1/3/12: Two notes concerning QVC Bixby items.

- We will no longer be quoting or selling non-Couture Bixby items, as very few items are left in stock, and Honora's "all sales final" policy doesn't give our customers much flexibility with the QVC pieces. Going forward, our sales will be restricted to Couture items only (Amazing Grace crosses are the lone exception!)

- Once we've received our first batch of the pave "Grace" crosses, and we get an update on inventory levels and whether Honora has enough stock left to continue accepting orders, we'll decide whether that item is still available.

Update 10/11/11: As PayPal tries harder and harder to get people to sign up for their credit card, or to provide sensitive banking information, we're seeing PayPal placing more frequent "holds" on people's money and doing more payment reviews which delays shipping for 1-2 days. And I don't blame buyers for being fed up with PayPal's constant sales-pitches and payment reviews. Going forward, anyone wishing to pay with a USPS Money Order will get a 2% discount of their purchase price (including sale items), PLUS a $5 credit to cover the cost of using USPS Priority Mail to send the money order to me. So, for example, if you're considering an item with a price of $300 and you pay with USPS Money Order, the price would actually be $300 - 2% = $294. And the $5 postage credit covers the $5 shipping cost, so you get free shipping. Let's just say it's our way of "sticking it to the man".

Update 10/5/11: I've been made aware of Ms. Bixby's Facebook declaration regarding the continuation of her product line, and her comments regarding this website. First let me say that I'm honored that Barbara Bixby took the time to visit my humble site, and I truly hope she appreciated the time and effort I've put into carefully photographing her beautiful jewelry creations. I couldn't do what I'm doing without a great appreciation for her creativity and artistry.

Regarding her comment that Bixby is not closing out its inventory or discontinuing production, if this is actually the case we urge her to clarify the situation with Bixby's own representatives so that proper information is disseminated to Bixby's sales network. We've been told in no uncertain terms that Bixby will cease acceptance of all special orders as of January 1, 2012. If this is not the case, this would be excellent news, but it's critical that she confirm this. Additionally, if production is not being discontinued, we would be excited to see Bixby actually re-stock many of the items that have sold out, because the inventory reports are getting smaller each week and no new pieces are being added, and no current items are being re-stocked. There are many great designs we would like to purchase for our customers, but have been told by Bixby that they are "sold out".

Ms. Bixby is correct regarding none of her pieces being "Limited Editions", though I've never made any such claim on this website. All of the pieces we sell are simply part of her Couture Collection. I've also not made any assertions regarding "retirement" of any pieces, though again if they are all still available and production is not being discontinued we would be delighted to know this so we could continue purchasing the pieces our customers desire.

Lastly, any question regarding how we source our Bixby items, or where they come from, can simply be answered by viewing the Bixby catalog photos and product ideas immediately below. These items were/are directly from Bixby-Honora, and the stock quantities are actual Bixby inventory numbers. If we weren't getting them directly from Bixby, we wouldn't be able to offer the exact quantity in stock at Bixby on any given day.

Thank you again to all of our loyal Bixby fans and customers. I truly enjoy sharing Barbara Bixby's jewelry with our many customers, and hope that her comments mean we will be able to offer her Couture line well into 2012 and beyond.

	Posted 10/19/11: Perfume Bottle Pendant! I've received so many inquiries and questions about this item, that I thought it would help if I posted everything we know about special ordering this particular piece. They have long been sold out at Bixby, so they have to be special ordered from the factory with the normal 12-week wait time. Even though I have this listed here amongst in-stock items, this piece is the exception; Bixby does not have any for immediate delivery. It features pink sapphires, amethyst, and onyx, and the little bottle actually opens so you can put perfume inside. It comes on a 17" silk rope choker with double release clasps. Retail is $1495, and I can order them for $725 shipped (and money order payments do get the 2% discount off that number as well) UPDATE 1/2/12: This item is no longer available, as special orders are no longer being taken. 	Posted 9/26/11 Bixby had 11 of these available as of September 19, so there still should be a few. I've sold many pearl strands in various colors, but we've never had the white ones. For those of you who own the 16" or 18" strands in chocolate, black, olive, or lavender, these are the same size and style but in traditional white. 	Posted 9/25/11 Bixby has 5 of these left as of Monday 9/19/11 - features a large garnet, with a beautiful blue sapphire underneath and a citrine at the tip. Lots of gold on this key, including the bail. Retail is $1225, I can order them for $555 shipped.	555

Update 9/22/11: The dealer has given me three sets of real Akoya white pearls to offer to the group...these are the real deal, not freshwater cultured. Luster, iridescence, shape and color are off the charts on all 3 sets, and the price will be too. I'll try to have them photographed soon, but if you're interested drop me a line.

Returns are only allowed in the case of a defective or damaged item - if damage occurs in transit, have no worries, all shipments are fully insured through ShipSurance. There are no returns of QVC items.
